Color fascinates me. In many of my paintings there is a continuing inquiry into color and color theory. In placing certain colors next to each other vibrant boundaries are created. I’m interested in revealing peek holes to see under the top layer of paint. I have been exploring outlining shapes with black and seeing how they become cartoonesque and graffiti-like. Working on large canvases is thrilling and brings so much color and energy into a room or space.
